Condolences

  • My heart goes out to the Wheelon family but especially to our son, Matthew, daughter-in-law Michelle and our granddaughter Sydney. They have many wonderful memories to carry on with them. May God give them comfort and peace during this difficult time.

  • I remember like it was just yesterday meeting Sid for the first time. And all of the times we met for Sunday morning breakfast and a ride. And those infamous words we would hear, " where you want to ride to? " "I don't know, where you wanna go?" About the third time somebody said that, Sid would fire up that Harley and head out. The rest of us on his tail. Sid knew. Some of the most fun places to go. And had a heart of gold. I always thought the most precious piece he ever had was behind his ribs. I was so fortunate to see Sid when he was on his way home not too long ago. We had dinner and caught up with what was going on in the ten years since I left Georgia. And it was so wonderful to see him again. I will miss him so much . But I know I will see him again. When it is my turn to leave this old world. And he, I and two of my other friends who also passed from Covid this month. And we will ride all over heaven after we sit for thirty minutes saying "where you wanna go? " "I don't know, I just got here. Where you wanna go? "

  • I am so sorry to learn of Sid's death. My sympathy and prayers are with Matt and his daughter.

  • It's sad to hear that Sid is no longer with us in this life . Sid was a great coworker and friend that always had something funny to share with you . I got to go a trip with Sid , I learned a lot about him and how much he loved his son and granddaughter. We will miss him at work but am thankful our paths crossed . He was a great friend. Rest In Peace Sid . Joseph Riddle
