Carol, my husband son and myself looked for you every time we went to Publix every single week. You made going there so special. We looked for you tonight but found you had gained angel wings. I cannot imagine how your family feels as my family is truly saddened to have lost you. May God bless your family and keep them in his loving arms. Love Spencer, Finn and Melissa Hilgeman

Although I never knew you, I know you must have been special. I know Karen would have only chosen a special person. She will miss you. We, as her friends, will hold her up and take care of her in your absence. Until the day you meet again. I look forward to that. Rest In Peace Carol.

I can hear you singing from the heavens, Carol. Anyone who knew you, knew that you loved to sing, along with being Chef Carol. It was an honor and a hoot to be your friend for over 30 years. Give my love to your Mom and Mardy. Please put in a good word for me in heaven, will ya? And now I can hear your laugh and see you shaking your head at me, saying ‘Oh, Z”. You had such a great sense of humor and now the only way to get through this heartbreak, I know you would agree. My heartfelt condolences to family. Respectfully, with love and a big hug for how much you will truly be missed. Peace be with you now my friend, your friend always, Z
