Dakota N. Fincham November 2, 1991 - May 27, 2019

Dakota Nicholas Fincham, 27 of Inman, SC passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019.  He was the son of Curt Fincham and Stephanie Wilson (Jan Mitchell). He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jon and Marge Roberts, Curtis and Lillian Fincham, Ray and Alice Whiteside and Monroe Wilson.

Dakota loved his daughter, Nevaeh, more than anything, she was his world.   She had him wrapped around her little finger and she knew it. He loved his family, friends and his job.   He lived life to the fullest, spending time fishing, playing cards, watching The Ranch & Game of Thrones. Dakota was the protector of his family and friends, you messed with them then you messed with him.  He would always make you smile and laugh, there was never a dull moment when he was around. His smile brightened any room and his personality was unmatched. To know Dakota was to love Dakota.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter, Nevaeh Alexander and her mother, Angelica of Inman, SC; two brothers, Brandon and Hunter Fincham; one sister, Haley Fincham all of Hendersonville; Grandparents, Ed and Mary Lou Fincham, Shelia Whiteside, special Pop, JR Blevins and Steve Wilson, Great-grandmother, Edna Wilson, nephews, Grayson and Wyatt Fincham; nieces, Addison & Khloe and Aria Sams; uncle Brian Wilson (Lydia Wilson); cousins, Sabrina, Abby Wilson and a large extended Beloved family.

  3. Kate says

Dakota has been one of my life long best friends. My first kiss, and lord knows we were inseparable when we’re 15 and 16. Through everything we’ve always stayed in contact, always supported each other. I was terrified of fishing and he woke me up at the lake with a huge catfish in my face, which is just Dakota. Light hearted, loving, and always made me feel better even when I was struggling. I just wanted to share how important Dakota was in my life, how beautiful his heart and soul was. My heart is broken, I will always love your family especially through this time.

  4. Jackie S Metheny says

My deepest sympathies, love and prayers to my extended family. Dakota is at peace in God’s arms.
