Debra Kay McGaha Wilson, 64, of Brevard passed away peacefully in her Home Christmas Morning surrounded by love, after her brief but fierce battle with cancer.
Debbie worked several jobs over her lifetime, but will be remembered for her kind heart, her smile, her laughter, her caring spirit and her love of the ocean. She spent a lot of time caring for others, it was a special gift she had.
Debbie was the only daughter of Brisco and Betty McGaha Born on July 7, 1955. They both preceded her in death.
Debbie is survived buy her only son Carl Travis and wife Summer and two grandchildren, Maggie and Brisco Travis, who she loved beyond measure and described together they were her whole heart. Her faithful companion “Biscuit” never left her side.
Debbie was able to attend her own Celebration of Life on Saturday December 21, 2019, surrounded by family and friends and per her wishes there will be no other memorial service. She asked that she be remembered in happiness and not sadness.
