    Dear Penny, Jill, Bridget and family. I was so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. He was always sweet to me just a pleasant person to be around, and I have nothing but good memories of him and Kathy and you at Barker Heights Baptist Church. Memories that are a blessing from God and which make my heart smile as I think of them. God bless you all! I give to you God’s living words from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” Love to you always in Jesus, Janice Kidd Parker

    We grew up together as kids; We rode the school bus together; we went to Barker Heights Baptist church together; we played little league baseball together; we played pony league baseball together;

    He graduated high school a year before I did because he skipped a grade.
    After the military we continued to go to Barker Heights Baptist Church and his wife Kathy was a gifted piano player. I was his mail man both at Stanwood and on Blue Ridge Street; When there was a big time high school football game we rode together to see it. I have a short list of people I call a friend and he was on it. i know his list was short and I hope I was on it.

    not long ago I had breakfast with him at the Mustang….. I will miss him.
