James John Chapman, 60, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away from natural causes in the comfort of his home on March 2, 2020.
James is survived by his children, a daughter, Sarah, 38; and his son David, 36; as well as his mother, Margaret; brothers and sisters. James was a loving father, son, and friend to all who knew him.
James worked hard in the construction industry for more than 40 years and retired when his health prevented him from doing so any longer. He spent his free time doing what he loved the most, body building, going to church, reading the Bible, watching football, talking to friends, enjoying the outdoors, and watching his favorite movies.
A patient, kind, and caring man, those of us who knew and cared for James can only hope he finds the comfort and peace that he deserved to have in this lifetime as much as the one he now finds himself.
As for us, his son and daughter, we loved him more than words can say, and there is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled.
Dad, although we no longer can hear your laugh, see you smile, flex your arms, or reach out to hug you anymore, we will always remember you. Always. Your light and love live in us, and our memories of you will keep you close in our hearts forever.
May you rest comfortably now and forever in the arms of our Lord. God bless you, Dad.
